Why Sodium-Ion?
Batri Materials’ mission begins in the realm of sodium-ion batteries where abundant elements unlock extraordinary potential. Its materials are engineered for impact, designed for sustainability, and are poised to power a new era of eco-friendly applications.
Expert Validation
Batri Materials’ research and development pathway has garnered the support and validation from leading institutions like the Royal Society, Innovate UK, and the Faraday Institution, reflecting the high level of belief and recognition from experts in the field. In addition to its successes in the UK, Batri Materials is also developing relationships with equivalent US institutions.
Furthermore, Batri Materials are actively involved in shaping national frameworks for skills and talent qualifications, positioning Batri Materials at the forefront of planning for the future growth of both the battery industry and the company’s expansion.

How is the Anode Material Made?
Batri Materials have developed a process to transform ultra-high carbon content coals into superior anode materials, through an energy-efficient process with low emissions.
Its proprietary process not only respects the environment but also aligns with current manufacturing standards by utilising existing equipment. This enables rapid scalability and offers the potential for licensing opportunities to established carbon producers, paving the way for widespread adoption.
