Supplier Code of Conduct for Batri® Ltd

1. Purpose

Batri Ltd (“Batri”, “we”, “our”) is committed to conducting business ethically and responsibly. This Supplier Code of Conduct (“Code”) sets out the minimum standards we expect from our suppliers, partners, and contractors (“Suppliers”).

Suppliers are expected to operate in a manner consistent with this Code and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Scope

This Code applies to all suppliers providing goods or services to Batri, including subcontractors and third-party partners involved in the supply chain.

3. Compliance with Laws

Suppliers must:

  • Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations 
  • Operate with integrity and transparency in all business dealings 

4. Labour and Human Rights

Suppliers must uphold internationally recognised human rights standards, including:

4.1 Modern Slavery and Forced Labour

  • Not engage in forced, bonded, or involuntary labour 
  • Not participate in human trafficking or exploitative labour practices 
  • Ensure employment is voluntary and workers are free to leave with reasonable notice 

4.2 Child Labour

  • Not employ individuals below the legal minimum working age 
  • Comply with applicable child labour laws and regulations 

4.3 Working Conditions

  • Provide fair wages and benefits in line with applicable laws 
  • Ensure reasonable working hours 
  • Maintain safe and healthy working conditions 

4.4 Non-Discrimination

  • Provide a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, or abuse 
  • Treat workers with dignity and respect 

4.5 Freedom of Association

  • Respect employees’ rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining, in accordance with local laws 

5. Health, Safety, and Environment

Suppliers must:

  • Provide safe and healthy working environments 
  • Comply with applicable environmental laws and regulations 
  • Take reasonable steps to minimise environmental impact 

6. Business Ethics

Suppliers must:

  • Conduct business with integrity and fairness 
  • Prohibit bribery, corruption, and unethical practices 
  • Avoid conflicts of interest where possible 

7. Supply Chain Responsibility

Suppliers are expected to:

  • Apply these standards within their own supply chains where reasonably practicable 
  • Notify Batri of any significant risks or breaches relating to human rights or ethical practices 

8. Compliance and Assurance

Batri expects suppliers to:

  • Confirm compliance with this Code upon request 
  • Engage constructively with Batri where questions or concerns arise 

Where issues are identified, Batri will seek to address them through dialogue and improvement. However, Batri reserves the right to reassess or terminate relationships where serious breaches occur.

9. Reporting Concerns

Suppliers are encouraged to raise concerns regarding breaches of this Code. Batri will treat such concerns seriously and handle them appropriately.

10. Continuous Improvement

Batri recognises that suppliers operate in diverse environments and expects a commitment to continuous improvement in meeting these standards.
