Batri® Ltd
Financial Year: 2025/2026

1. Introduction

This statement is made by Batri Ltd (“Batri”, “we”, “our”) in relation to the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Although Batri does not currently meet the threshold requiring mandatory disclosure under the Act, we are committed to operating responsibly and transparently, and to taking appropriate steps to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chain.

2. Our Business

Batri Ltd is a UK-based company focused on the development of advanced energy storage materials and systems, including battery technologies and integrated energy solutions.

Our operations include research, development, and collaboration with international suppliers and partners.

3. Our Supply Chains

Our supply chain includes:

  • Raw materials and precursor materials
  • Specialist manufacturing and processing partners
  • Equipment and component suppliers

As a company operating within the global battery sector, we recognise that certain parts of the supply chain—particularly upstream material sourcing—may present elevated risks of modern slavery.

4. Our Commitment

Batri has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to:

  • Acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings
  • Taking reasonable steps to identify and manage risks
  • Engaging with suppliers to promote responsible labour practices

5. Risk Assessment

We recognise that modern slavery risks may arise in:

  • Geographies with higher prevalence of forced labour
  • Complex or multi-tier supply chains
  • Industries involving raw material extraction and processing

We apply a risk-based and proportionate approach, focusing our attention where risks are more likely to occur.

6. Due Diligence and Mitigation

Given the size and stage of our business, our approach includes:

  • Considering ethical and labour practices during supplier selection
  • Engaging with suppliers on responsible sourcing and labour standards
  • Monitoring higher-risk relationships where appropriate
  • Seeking to work with partners who share our commitment to ethical conduct

Where concerns are identified, we aim to address them through engagement and, where necessary, reconsideration of the relationship.

7. Policies and Governance

Batri supports this statement through:

  • Our Human Rights Policy
  • Internal governance and oversight by senior management
  • Integration of ethical considerations into procurement decisions

8. Training and Awareness

As a small organisation, we promote awareness of modern slavery risks among relevant team members, particularly those involved in procurement and supplier engagement.

We will continue to develop our approach as the business grows.

9. Continuous Improvement

We recognise that managing modern slavery risk is an ongoing process. Batri is committed to:

  • Improving visibility of our supply chain over time
  • Strengthening supplier engagement practices
  • Reviewing and enhancing our policies as we grow
