Batri is pleased to announce the appointment of Nathan Reynolds as Project Manager and Dr Daniel Jones as Battery Innovation Scientist.
These strategic additions to the team reflect the company’s continued growth and commitment to delivering cutting-edge energy storage solutions.
As Batri expands its commercial and technical capabilities, these roles are instrumental in supporting the delivery of advanced battery materials and integrated energy technologies across key international partnerships and product development pipelines.
Dr Daniel Jones brings a strong research background in electrochemistry and materials science, with a particular focus on next-generation battery chemistries. In his new role, Daniel will help accelerate Batri’s innovation efforts, including the refinement and real-world validation of Batri’s proprietary anode material.
Nathan Reynolds joins Batri having completed his EngD studies at close collaborators, Swansea University. His background in sodium-ion battery chemistry along with PRINCE2 qualifications offers a unique insight into the best practise project management of our development programs.

These appointments come at a pivotal time for Batri, as the company continues to advance its international collaborations—most notably the SNaP programme, a joint initiative with South Korean partners. SNaP (Stable sodium-ion battery packs for stationary energy storage applications) integrates Batri’s high-performance anode material into full battery cells destined for real-world applications, validating the technology across multiple product environments and performance conditions.
Together, Nathan and Daniel will play key roles in ensuring the successful execution of Batri’s technical roadmap and in helping drive the company’s mission to create scalable, sustainable, and sovereign battery solutions for a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
The Batri team welcomes both new colleagues and looks forward to their contributions as the company enters its next phase of growth.
