Inspiring Future Innovators at the Swansea University Science Careers Fair

Batri was pleased to engage with Swansea University students at the Science Careers Fair to discuss the numerous career opportunities within the company and the wider battery sector.

The fair offered a dynamic environment for students to learn about diverse roles in cell development, research, and product innovation. Dr Emma Freeman and Dr Brent de Boode explained how each area requires interdisciplinary thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and a commitment to sustainability. These qualities align strongly with the aspirations of many science students, who showed exceptional curiosity about the rapidly expanding battery field.

A significant focus of the discussions revolved around the development and refinement of new battery chemistries, as well as the search for more efficient production methods. The enthusiastic conversations reinforced how crucial fresh talent is for shaping the future of battery solutions and accelerating the transition to cleaner energy systems.

Batri values the opportunity to connect with ambitious students and help them envision a career that not only addresses global energy challenges but also offers rewarding professional growth. By building a diverse and inspired workforce, the company will continue to drive breakthroughs in sustainable energy storage.

The Science Careers Fair provided an excellent platform for Batri to share its vision and mission with the next generation of experts in the field. Our team is passionate about empowering individuals who are driven by innovation and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment.
